Daily Provisions

Open on the doorstep of Union Square Cafe, this cafe is quick and easy and loaded with all your favourite bites.

Whilst most of Danny Meyer's empire is known for refined dishes, relaxed (and lengthy) meals and fairly hard to come by reservations, the littlest sibling goes in a different direction. Sitting just next to the newly relocated Union Square Cafe, Daily Provisions is small, fast, and easy whilstvstill maintaining the close attention to detail and integrity of ingredients that we've come to expect from the restaurateur.

With only a handful of seats and counter space, this blue-painted space, is really meant to be a place to pop in and grab your (very tasty) fuel for the day. With a breakfast menu filled with homemade goodies such as egg and bacon sandwiches on house-baked bread, breakfast gougères (pastry balls with delicious fillings), plus coffee from Joe Coffee, it's a no brainer morning stop.

Later in the day, the menu gets fuller with bigger sandwiches stuffed with everything from roast beef, chicken Milanese and cheesy broccoli, plus, a late afternoon (post 3pm) rotisserie chicken. Ideal for when you're feeling too lazy to cook, this cafe is the kind of place you always want to live near.
