Paco Perez At The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC

The Spanish star chef brings his brand of Catalonian gastronomy to Center Cut restaurant this winter.

He holds five Michelin stars across his restaurants in Europe - including Enoteca at The Ritz-Carlton, Hotel Arts Barcelona - and now, Dubai diners can experience the essence of Spanish cuisine with this pop-up running from October 22 to January 22, 2018 - with chef Paco himself making appearances intermittently in this three-month period (watch this space for the next time he's in town).
Even if the maestro isn't on hand himself however, he has planted members of his team to ensure the Michelin star experience is perfectly recreated against the elegant, white linen backdrop of Center Cut restaurant.

Celebrating the best of Catalonian produce - think lots of seafood - cooked and served with finesse and artistry, the pop-up menu includes a five-course degustation, as well as a la carte tapas-style offerings for lunch and dinner. Don't expect your bog standard croquettes and patatas bravas however, in signature Paco style, the dishes are all innovative and flavourful.
Highlights include a foie gras-chocolate doughnut as part of the amuse bouche selection; oyster tartare with caviar; poached langoustines with prawns wrapped in a fresh, paper-thin pasta 'canneloni'; seared Wagyu with caramelised onions; and an unexpected, refreshing basil dessert.

The tasting menu is priced at AED 450 per person, wine pairing options are available.
