Rule of Thirds is a partnership between the Sunday in Brooklyn team and JT Vuong and George Padilla - formerly of Okonomi and YUJI Ramen. Replacing the Scandi restaurant Norman, this minimalist-chic all-day izakaya-style restaurant serves up 'New York-inspired' bento boxes, sushi and hot Japanese dishes 'made for everyone.' Transforming into a late-night urban cocktail hangout - Rule of Thirds sets out to capture the buzz and debauchery of Tokyo after dark.
Going Japanesy
panko-breaded pork with mustard and cabbage; Japanese rolled omelette topped with trout roe and shavings of pecorino cheese; and a selection of snacks and grilled skewers like chicken thighs topped with gremolata, and pork jowl that features yuzu kosho, a citrusy Japanese chile paste.
