As well as our incredible Vegan Butcher, head to our original Rudy’s Vegan Diner in Camden; specialising in veganised versions of dirty American food. Chow down on meat-free burgers, giant seitan hot dogs or live out the NYC Deli fantasy with Rudy’s Reuben – sandwiches stacked high with ‘pastrami’ between two slices of homemade rye. Definitely don’t skimp on dessert with our very own melt-your-mind dairy-free Freakshakes which bring all the vegans to the yard.
Head down to Boxpark Shoreditch where you can find the Asian gem that is Eat Chay – from Korean Kimchi Boa and Spicy vegan ‘pork’ dumplings to Vietnamese Bulgogi BBQ seitan sandwiches and Korean mixed rice packed with kimchi, seitan and much more! We love their diversity and the flavourful combinations – they’re packed full of goodness, as well as the spice!
We loved this place when they were our neighbour a while back, they’ve totally revolutionised themselves as ‘the’ go-to household vegan retailer and are now readily available to buy online and straight to your door! Disclosure, it’s not for the faint hearted; the vegan Cheezeburger pie will give you all the cheezy feels, as well as the Devil Father pizza, topped with hand-made spicy vegan Nduja, spinach, handmade mozzarella and marinara sauce. All the pizza and pie goodness to go round, 24/7!
Now, not only is this place a gorgeous Kentish Town hotspot for grabbing coffee, but they have a great mantra – making veganism delicious and wholesome. Serving through from breakfast to dinner, these guys know what they’re doing; especially with their handmade vegan doughnuts and croissants – to die for. You can also pick up a plant or two in store for home.
Albeit, this place isn’t a solely vegan option, but their vegan dishes are next level delicious and will hit the spot for any West London locals craving a takeaway. A Chinese is certainly not a Chinese without crispy duck, and they have just that with their crispy aromatic vegan duck pancakes, as well as some of our favourites, the Szechuan mange-tout, sweet and Sour tofu nuggets & of course Singapore noodles.
