Stein's at Home

Stein's at Home gives you the chance to enjoy a Rick Stein restaurant experience at home. The reasonally priced menu boxes – contain a three-course meal for two - bringing fresh Cornish seafood and Rick's classic dishes straight to your door to enjoy at home.  All of the preparation has been done by the team in Cornwall, all that is needed is finishing off the dishes with some very easy-to-follow instructions. Choose from their rightly popular Indonesian Curry menu or the new Sea Bass and Coq au Riesling menus – priced from £55. There’s also a wine pairing selection and a selection of fresh fish and lobster boxes for a blow-out fish feast. Pictured. 

Murano White Truffle Menu Box
 
Angela Hartnett has launched a limited edition Murano Menu Box that celebrates the truffle season, with 4 decadent courses and the very best white truffles from the inimitable Meera Cortesi. The menu a choice of either fresh tagliatelle with truffle butter or polenta ravioli with truffle butter. There's a main course of braised feather blade of beef and crushed celeriac served with a side of Vacherin with confit potatoes, and buttermilk panna cotta for dessert. The kit also come with a truffle slicer, which Angela advises using to shave truffle over the pasta, vacherin and - if you’re feeling indulgent - the panna cotta! Available for delivery every Friday (within the M25) and priced at £175 for 4 courses and prices starting at £105 for 30g white truffle. 
 
Quo Vadis at Home

Quo Vadis, ‘the Great Dame of Dean Street,’ the restaurant and members’ club led by the venerable Jeremy Lee, has just launched a delivery service. Expect a menu of seasonal, regional British fare, suitable for finishing at home with very little exertion but much fanfare. The menu, which changes monthly, includes dishes such as cured salmon with pickled cucumbers, mustard & dill; goose & pork rillettes with pickled figs & cornichons and turkey and bacon pie.  Deliveries are made on Fridays (from 20 November) and orders need to be made by 3pm the preceding Tuesday.

Taka-away by Taka Marylebone

Following its recent opening, Taka Marylebone has launched ‘Taka-away’, bringing its inventive menu and playful takes on classic dishes. The small-plates based menu runs across different sections, including Plant Based Power, Fry or Die and Arigato Sando as well as Carbohy-Greats and Rock and Rolls. The takeaway menu consists of restaurant favourites such as Scottish salmon tataki; wagyu dripping rice bowl with wagyu fat and Sukiyaki sauce on sushi rice and their Kagoshima A5 wagyu sando. Set menus will also be available in due course. Available for Monday-Sunday, 12pm - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm.

Rico! Rico! by Sabor 

The team behind London’s Sabor, have been busy creating a little sister brand in the shape of, Rico! Rico! (translated from Spanish meaning “Yummy! Yummy!”); a delivery service offering a menu of homely Spanish dishes delivered to your door. Think hot and crispy croquetas, oozing tortilla, warming chicken stew and spicy Albondigas. There's also set menus including a Rico! Rico! Feast for two - to share - including rich Arroz Negro and a side of “Pure de Patata” a creamy mash potato with butter, cream, garlic and olive oil. The menu is available from Thursdays to Sundays and operates within a 3-mile radius from Heddon Street, W1.

Bisushima

Joining the London takeaway scene is Bisushima - an all-day rooftop restaurant and bar serving up progressive Japanese cuisine overlooking Trafalgar Square, which managed to open for just two days before being forced to close due to the latest lockdown. You will need to wait a bit longer until you can enjoy the panoramic views once again. Fortunately the same doesn't apply to the menu - overseen by Takuya Watanabe (of the Michelin-starred Jin in Paris) - with their new home delivery service - serving highlights from their launch menu. Expect authentic sushi and modern dishes with Japanese essence such as: wild seabass sashimi with shisho and Tosazu shiso dressing; mackerel tatsuta with salsa and shiso dressing and grilled live fresh water eel kabayaki donburi and matcha and white chocolate terrine.
