The Grand Hotel Pigalle

Having opened artisanal cocktail bars in Paris, London and New York, the founders of Experimental Group Olivier Bon, Romée of Goriainoff and Pierre-Charles Cros have opened their first hotel.

Nestled in the trendy South Pigalle neighbourhood, the Grand Hotel Pigalle is a boutique 'bed & beverage' hotel housing 37 rooms and suites decked in (suitably) Bohemian style (think attic rooms, fireplaces, vintage furniture and textured wallpaper etc.), by designer Dorothée Meilichzon “that combines the comfort of an international address with the charm of the art of living in the most sought-after Parisian neighbourhood”. There are mini-bars stocked with top-of-the-line artisanal alcohols and house-made bottled cocktails and custom-made Buly toiletries by Ramdane Touhami.

Dining wise there is the Wine & Dine restaurant (and lounge) where the bar menu has been inspired by some of the founders’ favorite bistro dishes (sea bass carpaccio with yuzu; Basque-inspired cheeseburgers with chorizo) from hotels around the world, a wine list offering over 200 varieties by the glass and decadent cocktails by Maxime Potfer (bar manager at the Experimental Cocktail Club).

The suites on the top floor offer a sojourn over the roofs of the Capital. Here, the Sacré Coeur and the villa Frochot are framed by oeil-de-boeuf and velux windows.
