Casa Isola by José Mendín

A charming Italian osteria paying homage to Pubbelly’s tavern-style dining and serving dishes inspired by regional Italian cuisine.

The Italian concept occupies the former Pubbelly Noodle Bar space in Miami Beach’s Sunset Harbour neighborhood. Mendín's first Italian restaurant is a collaboration with his longtime business partner Sergio Navarro and former Lucali chef Santo Agnello - and pays homage to Brooklyn-born Agnello's Sicilian origins.

Dine on rustic Italian dishes such as prosciutto served with parmesan butter and caponata honey on Brooklyn-style bread and branzino famili pazza, served with mussels, white wine, parsley and tomato. The bijou indoor and outdoor space is decked in a Mediterranean-inspired décor of white and blues.

Open Tuesday to Sunday, from 5pm.
