Ruth Rogers CBE at Field by Fortnum’s

Ruth Rogers and Sian Wyn Owen of The River Cafe are the first guest chefs at this new supper club series at Fortnum & Mason.

Food Behind the Pages - a new supper club series and celebration of the most revered chefs and authors in the British food industry. First-up is Ruth Rogers CBE of London institution The River Cafe. Her riverside restaurant remains a benchmark for ingredient-led Italian cooking since opening in 1987. 

Ruth kicks off the series, sharing a three-course menu based on recipes from her latest cookbook, before sitting down for a Q&A with guests. Expect dishes such as Spatchcock chicken cooked in milk with lemon peel and sage and pressed chocolate cake with crème fraîche. Tickets include a three-course menu, accompanied by a wine pairing and an option to include a copy of the book - and are priced from £45.

Casarecce with pesto alla genovesa; Spatchcock chicken cooked in milk with lemon peel & sage served with Tuscan roasted potatoes & roasted datterini tomatoes and pressed chocolate cake with crème fraîche.
