May's Hottest Restaurant Openings

This month sees some major restaurant launches from Danny Meyer's reopened Untitled at the new Whitney Museum (above) to John McDonald's Sicilian Sessanta at Sixty Soho Hotel - this is where you want to be dining.

Bruno
Two Robertas alumni have taken their popular pop-up tasting counter to the next level with the opening of this new East Village restaurant with 00 pizza flour and a wood-burning oven.

Sessanta
Sixty Soho debuts its new Sicilian restaurant, Sessanta - from restaurant maven John McDonald - channelling mid-century Italian glamor and the tastes of coastal Italy.

Sadelle's
Team Torrisi are at it again, this time turning their attention to the bagel, with this appetizing store, bakery, and bagel laboratory and restaurant. Expect a completely new take on Jewish classics.

Dominique Ansel Kitchen
Pastry mastermind Dominique Ansel's West Village restaurant and bakery was already a unique undertaking - with its made-to-order a la carte desserts - and now he has added another new concept: a multi-course dessert tasting counter upstairs.

Oiji
Oiji is sleek and contemporary in both aesthetics and cuisine. The chef duo and co-owners - Bouley and Gramercy Tavern vets - have turned to Korea for inspiration, and concocted a menu of delicate and creative twists on traditional Korean dishes.
