Events kick off on Wednesday August 19, with Groucho hosting the after-party for Spandau Ballet’s live performance at Ibiza Rocks at Pikes in a “Back to the Blitz” themed event. It’s followed on Thursday by a three-course dinner (€60) with a special menu created by Tom Parker Bowles and Hawksmoor’s Richard Turner, and a Groucho bar serving up some of their signature cocktails, while Friday evening will feature Pikes’ lauded in-house music and entertainment.
Members of The Groucho and contributors to its recently launched book (to celebrate 30 years) will hold cultural talks and events throughout the pop-up, while the club’s bartenders and front-of-house staff will host the event alongside the Pikes hotel team.
The highlight of the collaboration is Saturday night’s annual Groucho Ibiza Summer Party in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust (€75 for Ibiza residents and Groucho members; €150 for non-members). With the pick of London and Ibiza’s creative illuminati enjoying a grill and barbecue presided over by Turner, plus cocktails, champagne popsicles from Pops and live music and DJ sets until the early hours.
