Conflict Café

Charity International Alert is reviving its pop-up restaurant concept - Conflict Café and this year they're celebrating food from the Philippines.

The café is being staged as part of this year's Talking Peace Festival. Diners join communal tables for an informative and interactive dining experience, where you are treated to a feast of traditional dishes from countries that have experienced conflict around the world.

This year's event, experience a one-of-a-kind Filipino salu-salo, typically a gathering of friends and family for a feast, with a three-course sharing meal created by Anglo-Filipino chef Mark Corbyn of London supperclub, The Adobros. Find out more about the issues facing the country, hearing from the chef and experts at intervals throughout the feast. Tickets are priced at £48.
