The Santa Monica restaurant offers a daily-changing menu of farmers' market-inspired dishes with ingredients from local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen who practice sustainable agriculture.
Executive chef Jeremy Fox, who held a Michelin star at Ubuntu in Napa Valley, brings his own vision of seasonality, simplicity, and quality to Rustic Canyon’s kitchen, resulting in a great neighborhood dining experience.
All of the food is served with sharing in mind. Take the signature roast chicken, for instance: it begins with a deboned, brined half bird, roasted to order and finished with roasted skin-on, and seasonal produce such as tandoori-style carrots, spaghetti squash, vadouvan, brown butter, and sage. Come with an open mind and empty stomach and leave inspired by the imaginative and delicious food.
