Located on Melrose in the Larchmont Village area, Kali is housed in a beautiful space accommodating up to 65 diners plus 16 at an L-shaped bar. Interiors include slate stone flooring and high-arched, exposed ceilings, while beige cushioned banquets and paneled oak tables are simply dressed with minimalistic wire Banzai trees. A moss-covered wall at the front entrance, and open kitchen rimmed with an exposed refrigerated cooler of hanging ducks hints at the playfulness of the venture.
Kali serves both an a la carte and a six- and eight-course tasting menu. Dishes are inspired by contemporary California cuisine, with a focus on seasonal ingredients.
