Krug en Capitale

A musical fourth edition of the prestigious Krug en Capitale pop-up - presenting a marriage of champagne and seasonal cuisine...

Champagne house Krug created “Krug en Capitale” in 2012, a unique champagne tasting experience with menus designed specially by a chef, and served in an exceptional setting in Paris. Previous editions were held on a rooftop in the 9th arrondissement, the fifth floor of the La Samaritaine and a private terrace at the Plaza Athénée.

For this (musical) fourth edition (hosted at the Nissim de Caondo Museum), Krug explores the power of music on how tastes are perceived, creating a “musical vegetable garden” - which guests can stroll through before savoring a menu created by Michelin-starred chef Armand Arnal (from restaurant La Chassagnette in Arles) - with dishes inspired from organic vegetables from the restaurant's very own garden - to highlight the emblematic notes of Krug Champagne during lunch (€160), a refined mid-afternoon feast (€45), or at dinner (€280) - for just 30 guests.
