Soho Negroni Championship

This year sees the return of last year's sold out event, the Quo Vadis & Pidgin Annual Soho Negroni Competition.

Professional bartenders will vie for the ultimate title of Soho Negroni Champion. Bartenders have five minutes in total to mix and present their entry to the judges and audience. Marks will be given diving-competition style out of 10 by each of the judges.

Deciding this most important title is a stellar line up of judges, including Allan Jenkins (Editor, Observer Food Monthly) and Hilary Penn (holder of the keys to The French House, licensed to sell intoxicating liquors of every description) along with Kay Plunkett-Hogge (acclaimed food and drinks writer and author of Make Mine a Martini, A Sherry and a Little Plate of Tapas and The Adventures of a Terribly Greedy Girl), and Giles Looker (founder, Soul Shakers).

Tickets (priced at £35) inludes a Campari welcome drink, a mini Negroni made by each entrant plus a succession of treats from Jeremy Lee's catalogue of QV classics. The Soho Negroni Championship takes place on Wednesday 25th October, 7.00pm, at Quo Vadis.
