Bringing his fine-dining concept to NYC, young Flynn McGarry is having a true Eureka moment.

6 years after his first supper club at age 11, celebrity teen chef Flynn McGarry is showing no signs of slowing down.  After spending time in some of the top kitchens in the country, such as Alinea, Eleven Madison Park, and Alma, he has plenty of tricks left.  Although currently only 17 years old, the wunderkind is returning to New York for his second residency in the West Village, this time at the espresso/wine bar Kava on Washington Street.  

Starting on October 1st,  McGarry will be putting out a daytime cafe menu of soups, salads, sandwiches and bowls, bringing his native California over in flavours and ethos. As nice as this all sounds, on October 18th the real show begins with an 8-seat tasting menu ($160) available for dinner only. These special evening sessions will showcase his raw (and cooked, thankfully) talent with dishes filled with everything from sea urchin to beets to poached oysters and more.
