Fast-casual seafood joint opens in Fort Lauderdale serving fresh Hawaiian-style grub.

Fort Lauderdale recently jumped on the Hawaiian seafood bandwagon with the opening of The Poke House. Located at the Victoria Park Shoppes, the fast-casual venue serves fresh fish in a comfy setting. 

Memphis Garrett, formerly from SBE Hospitality, teams up with restaurateur David Cardaci and actor AJ Buckley (CSI: NY) among others to will bring a nautical-themed space with ocean color ceilings, grass walls, and reclaimed wood accents found throughout. 

As for food, the standard sushi-grade tuna is key on the menu, chopped into bite sized pieces and smothered in a sesame soy sauce, but there are plenty other options, too, such as build your own bowl, giving guests the chance to choose the fish they want, the starch, and the toppings.
