Housed inside the Intercontinental Hotel over on West 44th Street, find The Stinger, a cocktail-focused program from TV chef Todd English. After an empire of restaurants around the country, plenty of TV moments and a cookbook, he has partnered up with Francesco Lafranconi to create a special menu of pairings and tastes to help broaden your palette.
The cocktails come in a variety of sizes, with the small Beehive at just 2oz ($9), Buzz at 6oz ($18) and shareable Sting at 12oz ($28), allowing you to taste several different cocktails before committing to a large one. They also have cocktail flights where you can get 3 Behaves for $18. They also have a special For The Hive section on the menu filled with large format punch style drinks meant for 4-8 people. These cocktails will change along with the seasons using local ingredients to inspire the flavours. Currently, they are using honey collected from the hotel's rooftop beehive, so they really mean it when they say local.
On the food front, the menu consists of sharing plates filled with small bits perfect to pair with your drinkables. Think, cured meats and local cheese, mini lobster rolls, salmon poke, and truffle mac & cheese.
