Emmy Squared

Serving deep-dish pizza in Williamsburg, this sophomoric venture from the team behind pie-centric Emily takes pies to another level of delicious indulgence.

Emmy Squared is more than just another pizza joint in Williamsburg; it's a game changer. From the same husband-wife team as Clinton Hill's Emily, this corner restaurant had high ceilings, exposed brick, and a long marble bar when you want to balance out those pies with some cocktails at short range. Neighborhoody during the week, this place becomes a buzzy destination dining location come the weekends with long waits and a packed dining room, but with so many surrounding bars it's never a problem to wait it out.

These guys are dishing out Detroit-syle pies, deep-dish with the cheese, sauce, and crust playing a dance for the spotlight in your mouth with a good crunch on the bottom, caramelized cheese on the edges and gooeyness inside. Ditching the traditional Slice, these guys went for big square cut pieces which hold their weight better to load all those toppings on. With a menu loaded with awesome concoctions from white pies with cheese, chorizo and chillies, to their spicy pepperoni Roni Supreme, to the ranch-based namesake The Emmy, these things are not messing around.

Beyond just insane pizzas, Emmy Squared is also known for Chicken Sandwich, Fried Cheese Curds, and a ridiculously decadent cheeseburger.

Ideal For

Going beyond just the fold and eat pies, these squares are for an occasion, even it the occasion is just "it's a Tuesday."
