Eatsa

Perfect for those quiet isolated moments by yourself, or a quick dining option that is still healthy, this Califorian-based automat has it's sights on NYC.

While this San Francisco-based restaurant earned some skeptical eyebrows when it first opened on the West Coast, it has since spawned into a mini-empire with 4 locations in California and one in Washington DC. With a menu based around the wonder food Quinoa, this new concept allows diners to order, get their food and eat all without direct contact with a service person.

With a menu based around the wonder food Quinoa, crafted into bowls loaded with flavour themes like Burrito with guacamole, queso, corn, Asada mushrooms and pinto beans and Spice Market Curry with corn curry, yams, Saag Paneer, cucumber raita, tandoori tofu, and Fried Chickpeas. With over 78 different flavours, there are endless combinations to choose from, which should aim even the most easy-to-bore eater. The best part is, these bowls are set to cost around $7, with the aim to lower the price as their vision expands.

While the food sounds great, that's not even the coolest thing. If you hate having to actually interact with people, this will be perfect as the entire process is done via technology. You order via tablets in the restaurant or from an app and then pick up your bowl from a glass cubby when it's ready. Of course, there will be a few people around to help those who want it, but if you want to keep within your own bubble, go right ahead.
