Surf & Turf Wars

The Blues Kitchen is sharing its kitchen with New York’s cult dining institution, Extra Fancy for an extra special collaboration...

Extra Fancy vs The Blues Kitchen, sees the feverishly adored American clam shack’s chefs fly over to serve their ‘Surf’. Six of their iconic New England inspired seafood dishes will be available in London for the first time as part of an epic ‘Surf vs Turf Wars’ menu. The Blues Kitchen meanwhile showcases ‘The Turf’: six real deal authentic meaty Texan BBQ dishes.

Expect special versions of dishes such as Extra Fancy’s signature ‘New England Lobster Bake’: lobster tail, clams, shrimp, mussels, sausage, corn on the cob, potatoes and twists from The Blue Kitchen on their flavoursome ‘Burnt Ends’: beef brisket glazed with a beer and hickory BBQ sauce, slow cooked for 18 hours.

A hedonistic cocktail menu pits their mixologists up against one another with three unique concoctions to taste alongside the food with Extra Fancy, under Bar Director Robert Krueger (of Employees Only NYC fame) shaking up some special signature cocktails.
