Gus Barton 

Gus Barton is an experienced personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach. His approach to training is both entirely bespoke and realistic, each client is treated as an individual case and a personalised programme is designed to fit within busy schedules. Gus is based at Kensington Studios, a stone’s throw from High St Kensington and Earl’s Court tube stations, but he is also happy to arrange home visits. He has a little black book like no other and understands theimportance of an integrated approach to fitness. Heartcore

Heartcore are passionate about moving well and their range of classes are designed with this core philosophy in mind. Whether booking reformer pilates, barre, TRX, Kettlebells, cycle or yoga U can rest assured that it will be taught by someone who knows their stuff. Heartcore run rigorous teacher training courses and each and every one of their trainers are at the peak of their game. They have nine beautiful studios throughout central London and their newly opened studio on Ossington Street might well be their prettiest yet. Single class £27, package prices vary.

BXR

BXR is a boxing focused, state-of-the-art fitness facility, fronted by IBF Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua. Located on Chiltern Street in the heart of Marylebone the brand new site spans 12,000 square foot over the lower and lower ground floors. BXR brings together an elite team of trainers and boxing coaches, whilst a collaboration with world-renowned Centre for Human Health and Performance (CHHP) introduces the best sports therapists in London. BXR is a member’s only facility, however Sweat by BXR, a series of classes which focus on getting participants fighting fit, will be available on a ‘pay as U train’ basis from February 2017. Membership starts at £1,500 per annum.

Dig Me Fitness

The signature ‘Ride’ class from Dig Me introduces a competitive spin concept that utilizes top of the range Keiser M3i bikes which track and measure your workout. A simulation is projected in real-time onto a screen at the front of the studio, turning the class into a 45 minute, intensive race. Following the class your workout summary will be emailed to U so that you’re able to track your progress. Brilliant instructors, motivational playlists and Cow Shed products in the showers…. What more could U ask for? Their newest studio in Blackfriars is soon to open and will introduce some exiting new class concepts. Single class £20, package prices vary.

Life In Movement by Ivana Daniell

Life In Movement is Ivana Daniell’s personalised approach to intelligent movement and exercise, developed over 30 years of practice. This is the perfect solution for anyone suffering from long-term injury or chronic aches and pains. Over a course of sessions Ivana works to reconnect patients with their innate body intelligence and natural muscle connections, commonly lost through years of bad habits and poor lifestyle choices. Following a 90 minute postural analysis a bespoke exercise programme will be developed based on specific personal requirements. An appointment at Ivana’s rooms in Marylebone are worth their weight in gold dust, she is one of the most sought after practitioners in the industry because long-term, lasting results are her specialty.
