NY Drinks NY is all about celebrating the agriculturally rich land we are lucky enough to live in, especially when it comes to the life restoring nectar, wine. For the month of March, they are holding a series of events to help showcase some of the best local wines, but the crème de la crème of such is the Grand Tasting, which is taking place on March 7th at the Altman Building in the Flatiron District. 

Back for its 6th year, they'll be presenting more than 200 wines from over 40 wineries from all over the region including the Finger Lakes, Long Island, Niagara Escarpment, Hudson River Region and Lake Erie. Beyond the chance to taste pours from these exceptional wines, you will also be able to meet the winemakers behind the liquids and learn all the ins and outs of the process. The tasting will be accompanied by small hors d'oeuvres, charcuterie and cheese, all of which will be made from New York produce.
