Desert Palm Per Aquum Dubai welcomes a new chef who brings a signature Latin American touch to RARE steakhouse.

Brazilian chef Joanna Portella comes to the luxury resort via Oman. Adding a tasty South American twist to the steakhouse menu, with signature cuts, oak wood fire Asado grilling, and secret marinade recipes, the expert chef offers up perfectly grilled dishes. Using high-quality products, and locally sourced organic veg, her additions to the menu includes the quintessentially South American Ceviche, plus speciality cuts such as Dry Rubbed Ribeye bone-in short cut; Rangers Valley Farm 300-day aged Australian grain-fed Black Angus Ribeye; or 450-day aged grain-fed Wagyu tenderloin.

Staying with the meat theme, Desert Palm is also offering a great value special Mother's Day menu from Friday 24-26 at poolside brasserie Epicure. Mums (and the fam) can tuck into a choice of roast chicken or roast beef served with seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and gravy. AED 150 per person (including two glasses of wine and a Mother's Day gift), available from 12:30pm-10pm.
