Chef Evan Funke’s highly anticipated new restaurant in Venice serves elevated Italian cuisine.

Latin for “happy” or “lucky,” Felix is inspired by the deeply rooted culinary traditions of regional Italy and enriched with ingredients grown by California’s greatest family farms.

Located on Abbot Kinney Boulevard in the heart of Venice Beach, the new restaurant boasts a glass-enclosed, temperature controlled “pasta laboratorio” in the centre where you can see Funke’s signature pasta being made. There’s also an open kitchen, wood-fired pizza oven and Tuscan grill. Funke also pays meticulous attention to his pizzas and makes them by hand mixing the dough in a custom dough trough allowing the kitchen to pump out more than 100 every night.

The predominantly Italian wine list is full of gems while cocktails showcase artisan spirits.
