The acclaimed American chef's boulangerie brand is expanding outside the US for the first time ever, with three outlets to open in the city, and further expansion through the GCC planned for later.

Thomas Keller needs no introduction - Michelin stars, James Beard awards, cookbooks, he's done it all. In a franchise partnership with M.H. Alshaya Co., the award-winning chef and restaurateur will open not one, not two, but three outlets of his famed Californian bakery in Dubai.

Apart from French-style artisanal bread, Bouchon will also offer classic viennoiserie items such as croissants and pain au chocolat, breakfast dishes including eggs, French toast, and a selection of tarts, cookies, sandwiches, quiche, soups and salads. Bouchon Bakery will also exclusively offer the Thomas Keller Espresso blend, the product of a 15-year collaboration between Chef Keller and Equator Coffees & Teas.

The first of the fast casual outlets is set to open in JBR later in the year, watch this space!
