An authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest experience coming to London...

German brewer Erdinger Weißbräu is bringing their Oktoberfest celebrations to London from October 5th to 22nd, catering for up to 5,000 revellers at a time on their 220 benches, in a 16,700 sq ft open-plan wooden beer hall (designed to look like a 19th century Bavarian building) - next to 02 Area and overlooking the Thames and Canary Wharf. The beer hall (decorated with floral garlands) features a stage hosting traditional bands from Munich as well as DJs and also houses a beer garden and funfair and Alpine-style huts selling souvenirs and Bavarian delicacies (such as poark knuckles, sauerkraut and batwurst). 

More than 40 expert Bavarian waitresses (in traditional dress) are being flown over for the event to serve customers and train local staff on how to carry up to 10 steins of beer at a time. Tickets to Erdinger Oktoberfest start at £10. VIP tables and drinks packages are also available.
