Street Food At Rang Mahal

The diverse feast of regional delicacies found in street stalls across regional India are given a gourmet makeover in a special new menu.

Drawing inspiration from childhood nostalgia, Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar, together with Rang Mahal's head chef Amrish Sood, has conjured up a special six-course menu that transports you from coastal South India to Delhi's bustling Chandni Chowk, and everywhere in between!

The skills of the street food makers from across India are brought to life with dishes like Seekh Wali Kaathi (lamb kebab in paratha served with spicy green chutney); Keema Toast (slow-toasted bread with hand pounded lamb masala, the signature of Iranian cafés in Mumbai); Crumb Chops (British-style lamb cutlet from colonial Kolkata); Jhal Moori (another Bengal street specialty of spicy puffed rice); and Kori Kempu (crispy chicken nuggets with an Indian twist). Even dessert is influenced by the streets of India, in the form of Halwai kee khatai - a Chandni Chowk delicacy.

The menu is priced at AED 275 per person, with wine pairing available for an additional AED 190. The new street food dishes are also offered as bar snacks at the Rang Mahal lounge, prices start from AED 100 per head for two snacks and two cocktails.
