Craven

A new restaurant, bar and lounge on the border of Hudson Yards and Hell’s Kitchen from the teams behind Chinese Tuxedo and the AVA Rooftop Lounge at Dream Hotel.

The 6,000-square-foot space, which seats 133 people, has been designed by Gene Kaufman Architect, featuring white brick, natural textiles, rich wood, and polished brass. There is also a large outdoor garden area with seating for up to 80 guests.

The kitchen is headed by executive chef Scott Andriani, whose menu is focused on all-American favorites and popular comfort foods with a French accent. Divided into Craveables, Shareables, and Unforgettables, dishes include French Onion Soup; a Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich; Beer Battered Fish & Chips and Steak Frites.

With a gorgeous interior and a menu that will please most palates, Craven is a welcome new addition to the restaurant scene of Midtown.
