Scheduled for an August 2015 opening, the wine bar and wine shop from Rustic Canyon’s founders will offer a sophisticated spot, mid-Santa Monica to try and buy wines from across the globe.

The owners and founders of Huckleberry Cafe, Rustic Canyon and Milo & Olive, Josh Loeb and Zoe Nathan, will open a new world-class wine shop and bar in a landmark Art Deco building in Santa Monica in August 2015. Now painted a deep charcoal, which highlights the architectural details of the c. 1937 building by architect Maurice Sasso, Esters Wine will present flights of wine brilliantly culled from around the globe by sommelier Kathryn Weil Coker, Rustic Canyon’s General Manager.

A state-of-the-art u-shaped wine bar will be at the centerpiece of the room, softly lit by grand Art Deco-style casement windows. Dive into the wine flights at Esters paired with cheese and small plates from Rustic Canyon's chef Jeremy Fox. Across the lobby is Cassia restaurant also from the Rustic Canyon team featuring the exciting Southeast Asian menu of chef Bryant Ng, most recently of highly praised Spice Market.
