Anatra

The newly opened Anatra restaurant at the Garment Lofts building at Eighth and Santee brings upscale Italian cuisine to Los Angeles's fashion district.

With crisp white tablecloths and a menu from Peyman Rasi that is focused on elevated Italian food from the Northern parts of the country, Anatra mixes high-end food with affordable prices.

Start with seared scallops and cauliflower purée; move on to roasted duck breast, with celery root purée; and finish with Valrhona white chocolate cheesecake, with strawberry puree.

The wine list features an extensive selection of old world wines, with a focus on Italy and France. 

Downtown’s Fashion District has long needed to up its restaurant game and with the arrival of Anatra heralds he start of that change.
