Dominique Ansel in LA

Cronut creator Dominique Ansel is making his LA debut this week, with the opening of his restaurant and bakery at the Grove.

Ansel’s first and only West Coast location brings some of his most beloved items and creations from New York to Los Angeles, along with a few new, location specific creations.

Located on the 1st floor, the Bakery has open seating both indoors and outdoors for 70. The menu offers the signature DKA (Dominique’s Kouign Amann), Frozen S’mores, Cookie Shot, and Cronut, as well as a menu that will evolve every few weeks.

Chef Dominique Ansel’s first full-service restaurant is situated on the second floor above the Bakery. “The menu is driven by the food we love – casual, honest, and with a bit of surprise. Our food is rooted in traditional French techniques, but the flavors range from different cultures and uses the best California produce we can get our hands on,” Ansel says. The restaurant seats up to 150, including indoor and outdoor terrace and bar seating.

The restaurant is open for dinner and weekend brunch. A 12-seat private dining room is available and can come inclusive with its own private terrace for a total seating of up to 22 guests.
