Melody

A little piece of the French Riviera has arrived in East Los Angeles, with the opening of Melody in Virgil Village.

Housed in a bungalow, across the street from Sqirl, this new restaurant is a welcome addition to the Silver Lake adjacent pocket of the Eastside. Melody is the brainchild of SoCal natives Eric Tucker and David Andreone, who have joined forces with former Son of a Gun chef Hunter Pritchett.

The menu offers dishes that are designed to be shared and focus on sustainable seafood, ethically raised meats and heirloom vegetables. A rotating wine selection, giving shout out to small producers, complements the French-inspired menu.

The sunny interior features second-hand furniture and lighting alongside handpicked plates. There are large windows looking out, while the large patio offers long communal seating.

Open for dinner service Wednesday to Sunday and for weekend brunch, Melody is a hot new Eastside spot U can’t miss.
