Firmdale Hotels has teamed up with Ultimate Library to create ‘The Book Salon’, a series of engaging and intimate literary events hosted by luminaries of the book world.
The series, which takes place at different Firmdale properties throughout the year, begins on 27th February with acclaimed novelist William Boyd at Number Sixteen Hotel in South Kensington.
Hailed as 'one of the most original and compelling story tellers', Boyd will be in-conversation with the founder of Ultimate Library, Philip Blackwell, discussing his latest book ‘The Dreams of Bethany Mellmoth’, a collection of entertaining short stories.
Taking place in the hotel’s Orangery, be treated to canapés and a glass of wine whilst listening to Boyd read an excerpt from his latest book, before a Q&A session. Tickets cost £30 per person. Books will be available on the night to buy at a special price and signed by the author.
