Jewel is a joint-venture from partners Jasmine and Sharky Shimoda, with chef Jasmine Shimoda (ex The Springs wellness sanctuary in the Arts District) heading the kitchen.
While the menu isn’t strictly vegan or vegetarian, it’s primarily plant-based featuring seasonal vegetables, sea vegetables, and fruits as well as grains and legumes, superfoods, spices, nut butters and cheeses.
Guilt-free dining
There are salads, burgers, pizza, bowls of pasta, and grain bowls with lacto-fermented veggies and pickles.
