A staple in the Design District, Michael's Genuine Food & Drink by James Beard Award winning chef Michael Schwartz has become a household name thanks to the consistent contemporary American food dished out inside this comfortable eatery. Since the opening of this flagship restaurant in 2007, Schwartz has since opened several other concepts including Harry's Pizzeria, Traymore and Amara at Paraiso. 

Serving signature hearty options with an emphasis on American classics, the menu is drafted up of vast selections with modern techniques and locally-sourced ingredients. The small space is divided into an intimate dining room with bar, private event room and outdoor courtyard overlooking the area's quaint streets.
