L'Azur embarks on its maiden voyage, bringing a taste of the French Riviera to the heart of Mayfair - in association with Belvedere Vodka and Dom Pérignon. Escape the commotion of the city, sit back and relax on deck whilst sipping a Belvedere cocktail, or a crisp glass of Dom Pérignon champagne and enjoy the journey on board L’Azur - a yacht themed hide-out. The nautical themed terrace features two leisurely lounge areas on upper and lower deck and a selection of seasonal cocktails and specially curated ‘Les Petites Bouchées’ menu features a selection of all-time favourites including ‘La Courgette Fleur’ and ‘Les Salade du Superfood’.
The designer has lent her talents to the Mount Street restaurant, bringing her signature style to its summer terrace. Working with the floral designer Flora Starkey, she has created a stunning installation inspired by Vita Sackville-West’s White Garden at Sissinghurst Castle, featuring seasonal planting and an arch decorated with climbing roses. Order Victoria’s favourite tequila, Don Julio Blanco, straight up (known as the 'VB') or mixed into the ‘Vicky 36’ cocktail, made with tarragon, lime sherbet and a dry apple-cider reduction.
Sartoria on Savile Row has partnered with Martini Riserva Speciale to transform the restaurant’s Libare Bar and terrace into the perfect destination for late night cocktails and DJs as well as early evening aperitivi and cicchetti. The terrace (open until 29 June) has been adorned with stunning floral displays and the expert mixologists at Sartoria are serving a flight of new cocktails using the premium Martini Riserva Speciale range with Chef Patron Francesco Mazzei serving an all-new selection of cicchetti including charcoal grilled lamb chop with caponata; roast pepper and Pecorino lasagne and Cuttlefish arancini.
Running until 30th September, the terrace has been created in partnership with Bacardi Añejo Cuatro to bring the tropics to the heart of London’s Covent Garden. Plants take centre stage throughout, from the palm and banana trees lining the indoor space to arch of fern foliage making the focal point of the terrace. The rum-based cocktail list includes delicious concoctions, including the Cuatro Air Mail, made up of Bacardi Cuatro rum, Champagne, honey, lime and a dash of orange.
Experience the very best of Lisbon at this pop-up on The Terrace on Portman Square. Choose from a selection of three punchy cocktails served in hand-sealed tuna cans, whilst enjoying an array of Lisbon inspired light bites. From tinned fish served with pickle pairings, local sourdough bread and Pastel del nata. Curated by DEN LDN (the brains behind the Woody Bear winter pop-up), Lisboa Jardim has a crisp and leafy feel, feeling like an extension of Portman Square Gardens. Open 12pm–10pm from Wednesdays to Saturdays - until the end of September.
This summer, The Wigmore has partnered with Plymouth Gin to transform its courtyard into a botanical gin garden featuring climbing plants, self-garnish pots on tables and interactive masterclasses. Nestled within the garden the Plymouth Gin Garden bar serves refreshing summer cocktails and the pop-up is hosting Botanical Lab masterclasses throughout the summer. Taking place on the first Wednesday of each month, the classes take you on an interactive journey where you can discover the history and botanicals of Plymouth Gin and be able to blend your very own gin.
A vibrant citrus-infused gin garden complete with negroni fountain popping-up at The Sipping Room at West India Quay - running until the end of August. Enter via a fragrant archway complete with grapefruits, lemons and limes and discover an expansive riverside oasis, complete with pick-your-own living herb wall. Drink in the essence of summer with signature serves and a dedicated Rosé Negroni Fountain which serves cocktails poured straight from the fountain. There is also a series of intimate cocktail masterclass sessions (priced at £30 per person) where you can learn the art of creating gin-infused cocktails.
The Bloom Rooms are popping up across London, and can be found on the terraces of Coq d’Argent, South Place Hotel’s Secret Garden and Plateau. The curved wooden domes have been decorated with fresh flowers and winding ivy to resemble an English country garden in full bloom. They provide the ideal spot to sip on a chilled glass of Champagne in the sunshine. Requires a minumum spend of £500 and can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests.
Popping-up for the duration of the summer, the floral terrace is wrapped around the hotel’s Thames-side restaurant Sea Containers, boasting views across the river and St Pauls. Opening from 2nd May, this year’s terrace celebrates 50 years of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé, with a menu themed around the iconic rosé Champagne. The terrace offers a bespoke a la carte menu, featuring a variety of fresh seafood dishes alongside seasonal summer vegetables. Complementing the Champagne themed menu, the pastel pink themed terrace is adorned with soft pink wildflowers in Laurent-Perrier flower boxes and dusky pink furnishings.
Rosewood London is collaborating with The Botanist gin, which has inspired the construction of a beautiful summer greenhouse in the middle of the hotel’s famous Edwardian courtyard. Complete with luscious foliage, hanging terrariums and refreshing cocktails, the Foraging Greenhouse at Rosewood London is the perfect suntrap, providing a much-needed al fresco hideaway - garnished with botanicals and herbs, so that you can forage for yourself and make the perfect G&T. Calum Franklin and Holborn Dining Room’s kitchen is on hand for nourishment, offering a selection of dishes from the main restaurant menu alongside serves from a new cocktail menu.
