Originally located in the basement of The Growler, Underdog has taken over the entire building, complete with a dining space. The menu is focused on elevated comfort food, and includes a bar menu with small plates, as well as soups, sandwiches and larger dishes. Try the “disco fries” with brisket, gravy, cheddar and a fried egg; or the veggie option "punk fries" with mushroom, gravy, crispy onions, gruyere, fried egg.
Creative director Conor Myers, who was a finalist in last year’s Bacardi Legacy Global cocktail competition, and bartender Josh Baker have created the drinks program, which features both classic and innovative cocktails, such as the “Underdog Salty Dog”, with vodka, dry vermouth, housemade sparkling fresh grapefruit and dehydrated salted grapefruit.
