Alright, we are blowing off the lid on this well-kept Parisian secret. Think Grand Budapest Hotel, bygone era costumes, busy atmosphere and one incredible location - discreetly hidden under the arcades of the Place des Vosges. If U have yet to visit Serpent à Plume, we recommend you do so asap.
We love the retro-chic 70s style decor, the pre-Columbian artworks decorating the walls, and the cool rock soundtracks booming through the sound systems. Sure, there is an element of kitsch but that is part of its charm.
Cocktails here are delicious and lethal. Do try the house's original creations such as 'the Days of Being Wild' made with mezcal Vida, spicy cucumber juice, cherry bitter, lime and egg white or 'the Separate but Together' a mix of Nikka whiskey from the barrel, pressed grapefruit, polen bead syrup, grapefruit bitter and matcha mousse.
Wait, did we mention le Serpent à Plume also boats in a jacuzzi...
