Emilia Strazzanti is working with east London suppliers, to serve five-course traditional Italian feasts, inspired by both British and Sicilian ingredients. Her next supper club is taking up residency at Hackney Coffee Company on 29th and 30th of November - serving Sicilian festive food and cocktails.
Following the first two sell out supper clubs, Emilia is collaborating with the likes of E5 Bakehouse, Pasta e Basta and McQueens florist - who have created a bespoke suspended flower installation inspired by the Sicilian orange groves with individual table settings encapsulating the festive season. Tickets are priced at £37.50 each.
Deep fried primo sale cheese, with honey & Sicilian oregano; peperoni ripieni, stuffed, marinated peppers, cherry tomatoes with Strazzanti’s pesto trapanese; slow cooked beef short rib, caper & parsley ragu served with east London’s Pasta e Basta’s Southern Italian fresh paccheri rigati & ragusano cheese.
A la passeggiata - a passito wine infused with oranges served with sweet ricotta.
