An all-day Californian-inspired café has opened at the Dream Downtown Hotel in Chelsea.
Natura Café is the latest venture by the Tao Group, with a decidedly California-inspired menu.
The all-day menu is focused on healthy food for any time of day, and that means the menu is loaded with small plates, salads and - of course - avocado toast. Bread comes from Sullivan Street Bakery, whch has supplied its sourdough bread, and toasts are topped with things like cottage cheese, or burrata and cherry tomatoes. If U’re looking for something more substantial, there’s a California burrito packed with chicken or steak, guacamole, black beans and green rice, as well as grilled skirt steak or puffy pancakes made with meringue-infused batter.
The menu isn’t the only thing that makes U think of sunny California: Natura Café features an abundance of natural light, lush greenery and an all-round cool ambiance.
With coffee courtesy of La Colombe, free Wifi and plenty of charging outlets, this is a welcome addition to the Chelsea neighborhood.
