The Residence

Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square opens its doors to an exclusive pop-up rooftop bar, The Residence, situated on the terrace of one of its luxury private residences. Overlooking some of the city’s most impressive sights, from the Tower of London to the Shard, the bar is open Thursday to Saturday evenings until September. Enjoy the view over a menu of imaginative summer-inspired cocktails. Alongside the drinks, Asian-inspired dishes and light bites are available including a selection of sushi rolls and colourful summer salads.

Skylark

10 floors up, perfectly perched overlooking Notting Hill, on the banks of Little Venice, Skylark Roof Garden has an enviable vista across the West London skyline. On the menu, find light, flavour-packed dishes (think Chili Cornish crab salad with avocado whip to a sauté of mussels, clams and tiger prawns) along with cocktails created to order, all enjoyed floors above the bustle of the streets and with views of The Shard, Hyde Park and The Royal Albert Hall. Open for lunch and dinner every Saturday and Sunday from 11am ’til late. Art Yard Bar & Kitchen

Art Yard Bar & Kitchen, the design led all-day dining restaurant and bar in London’s Bankside Hotel, is soon to launch its brand-new Summer Terrace this May - the ideal spot to enjoy long evenings with stunning views across the river to St Paul’s cathedral. The terrace is launching in partnership with Hambledon, the award-winning Hampshire vineyard, with its full range of English sparkling wines available with light bites and Art Yard’s signature wood-fired pizzette delivered to your table or you can cool off with Hambledon Snow Cones. The terrace is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm.

The Garden Room by Bourne & Hollingsworth

A sky-high restaurant and bar with panoramic views of London, situated in the heart of the West End by the National Portrait Gallery, from the team behind Bourne & Hollingsworth. Having just opened - The Garden Room offers an informal charm in a stunning setting (perched atop the Assembly Hotel) mixes stunning interiors, seasonal cuisine and the brand’s signature cocktails, with the finest 180-degree views of London from the top floor. Expect pared back, classic yet eclectic interiors with Aztec-style prints, rattan furniture and a plethora of living, green, organic plants; from fully-grown trees, trailing creepers to leafy plants. The space also features vast floor to ceiling glass windows ensuring every seat has spectacular views across central London. Serving lunch and dinner, there's a varied brasserie style menu of seasonal food with European influences.

Mercer Roof Terrace

Situated on the top floor of Vintry & Mercer hotel - nestled in the heart of the City of London - with a laid-back dining atmosphere and sweeping views of London’s skyline, from the dome of St Paul’s Cathedral to the glass tip of The Shard. Inside, the atmosphere is warm and convivial, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening wide to the night’s sky and where you can dine al fresco above the city lights. Manning the stoves is Chris Golding previously of Zuma, Nobu on Berkeley Street and oversees Apero at the group's sister hotel The Ampersand. The menu is modern British showcases the best of British ingredients with a seasonal menu and a “farm to plate” ethos, using sustainable ingredients. Think hay-smoked beef tartare; Norfolk white free-range chicken glazed with honey and lavender and maybe Dorset blue lobster with Espelette butter and purslane.

The Standard - Coming Soon

The Standard, London is bringing their 'unconventional culture' to the historic Camden Town Annex - just across from St.Pancras Station. It is the brand’s first hotel outside the US, joining existing properties in LA, West Hollywood, Miami and New York. Chef patron of the one Michelin starred Casamia in Bristol, is heading to town and taking the helm of the rooftop restaurant at the highly-anticipated Standard London. Self taught chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias, together with his brother Jonray, transformed their parents’ local Italian trattoria into one of the most cutting-edge restaurants in the country. Peter is also behind two more casual restaurants reflecting his family’s food heritage: Pi Shop pizzeria, and Paco Tapas, named in honour of his father, who grew up in Seville. Casamia is well renowned for their seasonally inspired inventive yet simple tasting menus - using complex combinations inspired by the seasons and based on the best ingredients available. 

The Garden at 120

The City of London’s largest roof top public space, ‘The Garden at 120’, located atop the newly opened Fen Court office building at 120 Fenchurch Street, is now open. At 15-storeys up, the viewing platform offers exceptional 360-degree views of the City and greater London and is free to visit, with no booking required. Dedicated lifts lead directly to The Garden at 120, which plays host to pergola planting with fruit trees, Italian wisteria, seating, a water feature and a coffee hut. D&D London has revealed plans to open (this Spring a rooftop restaurant on the 14th floor) boasting stunning views of the capital including the River Thames, Tower Bridge, Tower of London and The Shard.
