Negroni Masterclasses at 45 Park Lane - Selected Dates

Bar 45 at the Dorchester Collection’s 45 Park Lane debuts a series of masterclasses celebrating the centenary of the classic cocktail.

Co-hosted by bar manager Francesco Orefici and a Campari mixologist, Negroni Nights encompass a bi-monthly interactive cocktail masterclass to delve into the origins of the Negroni cocktail and its three ingredients; Campari, gin and vermouth. A canapé menu to pair with the unique flavours and aromas of the cocktail created during the masterclass will be served. Held every other month, Negroni Nights at 45 Park Lane take place the third Thursday of the month, commencing on February 21. Priced at £125 per person.

Negroni is an iconic cocktail first created in 1919 at Caffè Casoni in Florence. Count Camillo Negroni always ordered The American, a drink consisting of Campari, Vermouth and soda water. The Negroni was born when he asked his bartender to replace the soda water with gin.
