Rosine’s Hot Chocolate Salon

A secret hot chocolate salon with celebrity designed drinks pops up this February for Fairtrade Fortnight.

This secret hot chocolate seller is housed in an inconspicuous newsagents in East London. Hidden beneath magazine racks is a secret button, which reveals the West-African themed speakeasy-style café. Created by the Fairtrade Foundation in support of their She Deserves campaign, Rosine’s Hot Chocolate Salon runs from 25 February until 3 March, open daily from 2pm to 8pm.

Three indulgent hot chocolates – created by leading celebrity chefs Melissa Hemsley, Tess Ward and Tom Hunt – feature on the menu, including a vegan option made with dark Fairtrade chocolate and one topped with toasted marshmallows. As well as hearing cocoa farmers’ compelling stories, you’ll be treated to authentic West African jazz and surprise appearances from celebrity ambassadors.
