Dominique Ansel at Shake Shack

The pastry king is bringing breakfast to Shake Shack West Village this weekend.

Don’t miss out on this eggciting collaboration, which will see the Cronut creator bring two new limited edition breakfast menu items to Danny Meyer’s burger joint.

The first is the Egg Katsu Sando - a Japanese-inspired sandwich with a steamed egg, breaded in panko and crisp fried, served with a touch of miso-honey mayo and on Dominique Ansel milk bread. The second item will be the Morning Maple Latte, made with La Colombe medium roast coffee with steamed maple milk, iced or hot.

Both creations will be available from 8am on Friday and Saturday March 15 and 16 at Shake Shack’s West Village location at 225 Varick St. They’ll start selling at 8 a.m. and run until sold out.

This isn’t the first time Ansel has collaborated with Shake Shack: In 2013, the James Beard Award-winner brought the Cronut Hole Concrete to Shake Shack for one day.
