Known for its superlative service and gastronomic delights, Le Sirenuse in Positano on Italy’s Amalfi Coast is a slice of heaven on earth. From March 4-11, the resort’s co-owner Carla Sersale and its executive chef Matteo Temperini will take up residence at Santa Monica’s Shutters on the Beach hotel, bringing a taste and touch of exquisite Italy to Los Angeles.
Sersale is bringing a selection of high-end resort fashions (swimwear and accessories) to a pop-up shop at the hotel. Chef Termperini will present a four-course dinner nightly (£62/$95) at the hotel’s One Pico restaurant. The sampling is a flavorful mash-up of Mediterranean recipes using California produce. Some dishes will also be available at lunch. Both lunch and dinner come with One Pico’s remarkable views of the beach, Santa Monica Pier and Pacific Ocean.
