Floret

A sophisticated all-day concept restaurant with a vegetable-focused menu by award-winning chef Joe Ogrodnek of Battersby.

Located on Bowery in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, it’s the ground floor restaurant (with an outdoor, warm-weather garden patio) at Sister City - the spin-off brand from the founders behind Ace Hotels. The all-day neighborhood restaurant and bar dishes up a seasonal menu inspired by Mediterranean, East Asian, North African, Australian and Californian flavors - by Ogrodnek who has put time in at Union Square Cafe, Gramercy Tavern, and Alain Ducasse at the Essex House. The inventive fare exalts individual ingredients as the focus of each dish and the local purveyors it came from.

The design evokes a Japanese-meets-Scandinavian design scheme, with lush greenery and the room accented with high-finish Italian terrazzo tiling and exposed brick. Open daily, including weekend brunch.
