Located on the fifth floor of the Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, this is the latest restaurant from Momofuku's David Chang. Kawi's head chef (and Chang's protégé) Park was born in Korea and raised in Philadelphia before going to culinary school and working at fine-dining institutions like Daniel and Gaon in Korea before Chang’s fine dining concept Ko.
The 'playful' menu is rooted in Korean foods and traditions, though like with many other Momofuku restaurants, it’s not necessarily tied to the one genre. Expect food that is elevated yet playful with small plates like white pepper wings and madai snapper tartare on toast, alongside wagyu ragu rice cakes and spicy Cornish hen stew. The "luxe" fine dining restaurant features non-traditional yet dynamic interiors - complete with convivial tone and textured fit out.
Korean-influenced plates & craft cocktails
