Tokyo’s most celebrated yakitori is heading to New York as Showa Hospitality partners with Tokyo’s Michelin-starred Torishiki group led by lauded chef Yoshiteru Ikegawa - considered Tokyo’s most respected yakitori master.
His first international restaurant is a 16-seat yakitori counter (although there are several private dining rooms) serving up their legendary grilled skewers - also served omakase style - in a sleek dining space of Noho.
