Tokyo’s most celebrated yakitori has arrived in New York as Showa Hospitality partners with Tokyo’s Michelin-starred Torishiki group led by lauded chef Yoshiteru Ikegawa - considered Tokyo’s most respected yakitori master.
His first international restaurant is a 16-seat yakitori counter (although there are several private dining rooms) serving up their legendary grilled skewers - also served omakase style - in a sleek, minimalist dining space of Noho. Dine on a multi-course tasting menu priced at $150 focused on all cuts of the bird.
