Eneko Atxa is chef and founder of the three Michelin-starred Azurmendi in the Basque Country, as well as Eneko Basque Kitchen & Bar in London, pcitured. The dinner (on 3 July) sees Eneko cooking alongside fellow Basque chef, Nieves Barragán, co-founder of the Michelin-starred Sabor in Mayfair.
For this one-off dinner, Eneko and Nieves have collaborated on a nine-course tasting menu, with signature dishes inspired by their home region, such as: Pig’s head croquetas with quince alioli and Piquillo peppers stuffed with smoked haddock brandade, squid ink sauce; and Diver caught scallops with dashi and ham consommé.
Tickets for the dinner are priced at £95pp, including a welcome drink and the nine-course menu. A wine pairing is available for an additional £150pp. All proceeds from the dinner are being donated to Action Against Hunger - the global humanitarian organisation that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger.
